Chris Vermeulen: Is an entrepreneur, stocks & commodities trader, pilot, and quasi-mechanical engineer having built many things from scratch (Taser/Stungun, Motor bike w/ sidecar, airplane, sand dredge, electric dirt bike, and self-storage portable delivery system) to name a few. The DIY Electric Hydrofoil board is his new venture!
Things he is passionate about are kiteboarding, surfing, creating new and exciting products, trading stocks & commodities, automating trading strategies, and laughing with his friends and family.
Ian Brown: Has been passionate about water sports since he was a young child. He can still remember his first feeling of flying across the water with harnessing the power of nature. He was a member of the Canadian Sailing Team, windsurfing all over the world. He has lived in Maui, Florida, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.
Ian was around when Foils first came out on windsurfers in the 1980’s, and recently on surf boards in Maui. The idea of creating an electrical hydrofoil board has been a long-time vision of his.
Simon Fischer: Is our 3D printer and CAD designer. Simon can’t help but grab at a new challenge. He works in cryptocurrency, acts as a director for a MakerSpace, and teaches himself video editing, WordPress, and other computer skills.
Despite a full plate, the moment we presented him with the startup, he was hooked and on board.
Pedro Monsalve: Is a motion graphics artist and video editor with a wide range of areas of expertise in the creative arena. He has extensive experience in the prototyping and development of web apps.
When not engaged in one of his many projects he’s on the water kite boarding, coding, having fun with his dog and traveling with his wife scouting for the next kite spot.
